Momo Michael Ende

Momo is a novel by Michael Ende, published in 1973 and subtitled The Knights of gray or gray men. Discusses the concept of time and how it is used by human societies modern. The full title in German is Momo, or the strange story of the thieves of time and the girl returned the time to men. Without doubt (and unfortunately), a wonderful metaphor for the harsh reality (in which we live today).

Abstract: In the ruins of an amphitheater, just outside an unnamed Italian city lives a girl named Momo, who has the extraordinary ability to hear the truth. Listening to a very special way that is able to find the answers to the issues of who talks to her, to make friends and invent fun games, to the extent that the phrase in your neighborhood go see Momo has become proverbial . Momo is friendly with everyone and especially Beppo the street sweeper and Gigi tour guide (also known as Gigi Cicerone or Girolamo).
